As development teams at Vehicle OEMs across three continents move their current
hybrid designs to production platforms and step up work on new hybrid designs including
plug-in, the next few years are pointing towards accelerated activity for hybrid
vehicle developers and their supply chains. Equally significant for the energy-storage
industry, new HEV battery suppliers and new (to HEV) battery chemistries are entering
the market. Li-Ion batteries are receiving significant attention and funding, but

THE CONFERENCE
AABC-08 and its pre-conference Symposia are designed to capture the latest news
